Carlos studied trombone at the National University of Tucumán, where his principal teacher was Professor Giorgio Voltolina, Principal Trombone of the Teatro La Fenice/La Scala de Milán, Italy. After that, he completed his studies at the Superior School of Music in Freiburg, Germany, with prestigious Professor Branimir Slokar. He has performed as a soloist with the National Symphonic Orchestra, the Symphonic Orchestra of the University of San Juan, the Symphonic Orchestra of Bahia Blanca, the Orchestra of the University of Tucumán, the Chamber Orchestra of La Plata and the Municipal Symphonic Orchestra of Mar del Plata.
He is currently on the faculty of the Municipal Conservatory of Music of Buenos Aires “Manuel de Falla”.
He held the position of fulltime Joint Professor of Trombone at the National University of San Juan, and has also taught at the Superior Institutev of Art and Communication of La Rioja.
At present, he performs as Principal Trombone in the National Symphonic Orchestra and in the Resident Orchestra of the Argentine Theater. He held a similar position in the Symphonic Orchestra of Bahía Blanca, the Symphonic Orchestra of the University of San Juan, the Resident Orchestra of Tucumán and the Symphonic Orchestra of the University of Tucumán, and was a permanent guest, 2002 – 2003, of the Symphonic Orchestra of the State of Sao Paolo, Brazil. With these orchestras he has toured Japan, the United States, and the Canary Islands. He is also a guest artist for the Camerata Bariloche.
