Miklós Nagy, Hungría/Hungary
Corno Solista de la Orquesta Filarmónica de Luxemburgo
I was born 1963 in Budapest/Hungary.
At the age of 7 years I started to play the French Horn. I continued my studies at Béla Bartók Conservatory and Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest with professor Ádám Friedrich, where I graduated from in 1986.
Between 1984 and 1988 I was solo horn of the Hungarian Symphony Orchestra and then from 1989 solo horn of the Hungarian State Symphony Orchestra until the foundation of the Budapest Festival Orchestra, where I played first horn from 1992 to 1996 and 1999 to 2000.
Between 1996 and 1999 I was appointed professor of horn at the Musashino Academy of Music in Tokyo and the Tokyo Metropolitan Fine Arts University.
Since 1987 I have also been a member of the Budapest Wind Ensemble.
From September 2000 until today I am the solo horn of the Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg.
